CBCP-ECFL March for Life
The Episcopal Commission on family and Life (ECFL), re-echoing the call of our Holy Father Pope John Paul II who called Christian Families to be the Good News for the Third Millennium, is inviting all Christian families, friends of other faiths and all people of goodwill to be one large family at the celebration of a Memorial Mass for the Holy Father on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 5:00 PM at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta. Parishes will send their delegations from the different diocese in a "March for Life" that will arrive at Luneta for the assembly at 4:00 PM.
The Fourth World Meeting of Families was a celebration for all families. These same families will once again come together to declare their commitment to John Paul II's vision of the Church as family and the family as church. (cf. John Paul II, Familyfest 1981)
This time Filipino families express their love for the Holy Father, John Paul II through a heartfelt declaration of commitment to ideals promulgated by the Catholic Church under the leadership of Pope John Paul II that convey the essence of the Christian doctrine of faith, life, love and hope throughout the Third Millennium.
