Free Seminar for Pastoral Workers for Migrants
17 February 2006 --- A formation seminar on Migration will be held for priests, religious and lay people working with or among migrants in Asia on March 19-25, 2006 at St. Joseph Marello Retreat House, Tagaytay City.
Dubbed as "Exodus," the week-long seminar has been organized and directed by the Scalabrini Migration Center in cooperation with the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People (ECMI).
Topics that are going to be discussed in the seminar includes: Migration in Asia Today, The Teaching of the Church on Migration, Mission with Migrants in Asia, Specific Issues in the Care of Migrants in Asia, The Care of All Migrants and Networking and Planning Future Programs on the Care of Migrants.
ECMI said that the course is limited to 30 participants only. They'll be accommodated on a first come, first serve basis.
Materials and accommodation during the said seminar will be provided for free.
